Now that you know the best spots, here is what you need to know about planning a Colorado wildflower wedding…

What’s The Best Time to See Wildflowers in Colorado?

The best time to witness the wildflower bloom in Colorado is an event that is largely influenced by elevation. Generally, the most favorable months are from late June to early August. During these months, the high-altitude meadows and hillsides burst into a variety of colors with a variety of wildflowers such as Columbine, Larkspur, and Indian Paintbrush, among others. Nonetheless, it’s essential to keep in mind that the blooming period can vary depending on the specific location within the state and the weather conditions of the year! For example, lower elevations may see wildflowers as early as April, while higher altitudes may not see blooms until July or even August. Also, a particularly wet or dry year can impact the timing and abundance of the blooms. Therefore, doing a bit of research before planning your wildflower wedding can be beneficial. Check local resources or parks for the most up-to-date information!
